The very sudden change of weather in New England has ushered in the coinciding desire to shop for summer clothes.  Purchases of sunglasses, sandals and all things summer have made it hard to not head to downtown to splurge.  Some things I’m excited about this summer are listed below.

The first is Fold-up Ray-Ban Wayfarers.  They fold on the sides and in the middle of the two lenses to a more compact, easy to carry pair of shades.

Another style for summer that’s popping up all over are printed shorts.  My favorites, which I saw  in the Gap store at the Prudential building this weekend, are higher waisted with a Chevron-ish style print:

And of course, to accessorise this summer, you need to have nautical jewelry.  I am seeing mariner’s rope knots in a lot of places, as well as anchors.   In fact, I just bought myself Anchor studs from The Touch!  Check out this Knot Bracelet with a 3mm amethyst in the center:
